I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
